Michael Caines at ABode Chester wins 'Cheshire Restaurant of the Year 2010'

We are delighted to announce that the Michael Caines Restaurant and Champagne Bar, on the Fifth Floor at ABode Chester, was awarded ‘Cheshire Restaurant of the Year 2010’ at the Cheshire Life Food and Drink Awards annual black-tie dinner on 26th October in Manchester.

The presentation of Cheshire Life Food and Drink Awards, sponsored this year by the celebrated local family brewer Frederic Robinson of Stockport, is now firmly established as one of the most anticipated dates in the North West’s culinary calendar. The coveted awards for the best hotels, best restaurants and most prominent local food heroes, chosen by a panel of independent judges, took place during a gala black-tie dinner at the historic Midland Hotel, Manchester, celebrating and rewarding the industries best emerging talent and purveyors of the finest quality food and drink in the region.

Commenting on the award Executive Head Chef Stuart Collins said, "Winning Cheshire Restaurant of the Year is fantastic, it is a very renowned award and as our first, it is a great win. The team has worked incredibly hard since opening, and it is good to see their efforts being rewarded. There are many great restaurants in Cheshire, and to be recognised as being amongst them is a huge compliment."
