Chagford, Devon 20 January 2009. We are delighted to announce that Michael Caines has retained two Michelin stars at Gidleigh Park, marking ten years of outstanding cuisine.

The Michelin guide is arguably the most revered restaurant guide amongst chefs, restaurant critics and guests alike and Gidleigh Park is honoured to be a part of a small group of two star establishments, of which there are only 16 in the UK and three in the South West.

Says Michael Caines MBE, Executive Chef, who is also celebrating his 15th year anniversary at Gidleigh Park: ‘This is fantastic news. I am so proud of my team, who work tirelessly everyday to achieve perfection for all our guests.’
